We are thrilled to announce the launch of our very own Community Pickup Baseball League! This fun-filled league is designed for children aged from T-ball to 10-11 years old, and aims to provide a safe, inclusive, and entertaining environment for all our young athletes.
Here's What You Need to Know:
Kickoff Date: Our inaugural game will take place on Wednesday May 29th at 6:30 at Diamond #1 at Ridgeview Park. We can’t wait to see many smiling faces there, ready to enjoy a day of baseball!
League Format: We’re taking a unique approach to ensure that every child has the opportunity to play and learn. Our league will be volunteer-driven, with parents like you stepping in to help manage games, keep score, and ensure everything runs smoothly after our initial setup.
Special Features of Our League:
- Equipment and Safety: We’ll provide all necessary equipment, as well as comprehensive insurance to ensure safety for everyone involved.
- Innovative Rules: To make the games fair and fun, we’ll implement creative rules like batting with the opposite hand for more skilled players. Games will also include fun challenges and skill contests to keep every game exciting!
- Parental Involvement: After our first session, we expect parents to take active roles in organizing and overseeing games. It’s a fantastic opportunity to engage with your children and the community!
