It all starts with T-Ball and yes we literally place a ball on a T for the children to hit, however there’s more. This division is literally the building blocks of the baseball skills needed to have a lifetime of fun and excitement. The children, who are aged 4, 5 or 6, (in the current calendar year) will learn the basics of how to throw a baseball, how to hold a bat, how to swing a bat and much more. They will also learn some of the basic terms we use in baseball, like first, second, third base and home plate. Left, right and center fields are also on the learning list along with shortstop and pitcher.
For this division we keep the team size small as a large team of T-Baller’s would make it more difficult to find volunteer parents to help coach.
